Fine Food Australia 2026: G.O.C FARM in Melbourne
G.O.C FARM at Fine Food Australia 2026: Products, People & Connections
Fine Food Australia 2026 gave G.O.C FARM four days not only to present products, but also to meet customers, observe the market and listen directly to the questions being asked by people looking for new products and supply partners. For the team, Melbourne was also an opportunity to see our products from the perspective of people discovering G.O.C FARM for the first time.
The conversations around food did not end when the exhibition closed each day. After hours at the booth, the team continued over shared dinners, conversations about the day and a little time experiencing Melbourne itself. That combination of business and everyday moments made the trip feel like much more than a conventional trade show.
Where the Food Industry Comes Together
Held from 31 August to 3 September 2026 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Fine Food Australia brought together more than 900 exhibitors across a wide range of food, foodservice, hospitality and retail categories, with companies and suppliers representing more than 30 countries.
From food, beverages and ingredients to bakery, dairy, packaging, equipment and technology, the exhibition provided a broad view of the food and hospitality industry. For G.O.C FARM, being in Melbourne was not simply about bringing Vietnamese-made products to a new market. More importantly, it was an opportunity to meet buyers, distributors and industry professionals involved in sourcing products for Australia.
G.O.C FARM at Stand C45
At Stand C45, G.O.C FARM’s familiar green identity framed a display designed around products and direct conversations with visitors. The selection reflected some of the company’s key strengths in pickled and processed vegetables, sauces and condiments, together with packaging formats for retail, foodservice and private-label applications.
Rather than presenting an extensive catalogue, the booth focused on real products that visitors could see, taste and discuss. Pickled cucumbers, jalapeños, beetroot, Sriracha Jalapeño and other processed vegetable products provided natural starting points for conversations about applications, packaging and product development.
The booth also reflected the broader direction behind G.O.C FARM: connecting agricultural sourcing with manufacturing, traceability and product development tailored to the needs of different markets.
The Conversations Matter Most
A booth may attract attention, but the real value of a trade show begins when someone stops to talk. Throughout Fine Food Australia, the G.O.C FARM team had opportunities to discuss products, flavours, packaging formats, retail and foodservice applications, and private-label requirements with visitors and industry professionals.
Some conversations started simply with a sample at the counter and gradually developed into discussions about usage, pack formats or adjustments that might better suit a particular market. Others continued around the meeting table, where there was more time to understand specific requirements and exchange ideas.
For a manufacturer, these direct interactions are particularly valuable. They help reveal what buyers notice first, which formats attract attention, what questions are repeatedly asked and what factors influence sourcing decisions. In that sense, Fine Food Australia was not only a place for G.O.C FARM to showcase products; it was also an opportunity to listen to the market.
Life Beyond the Show Floor
Behind the hours spent at Stand C45 was a very different rhythm. After a full day of meetings and conversations about food, the team would usually end up discussing two familiar subjects: what happened during the day and what to eat for dinner.
One evening, a simple meal of steak, bread, fries and red wine came with a familiar addition. A bottle of G.O.C FARM Sriracha Jalapeño, which had been displayed at the exhibition during the day, appeared next to the steak at dinner. There was no booth, catalogue or product presentation involved; it was simply opened and enjoyed as part of the meal.
It was a small moment, but one that captured another side of the trip. Food was not only what the team worked with during the exhibition; it was also part of the everyday experiences shared together in Melbourne. Away from the show floor, there was also a little time to slow down, explore the city and enjoy the moments between long exhibition days.
What We Take Home from Melbourne
The value of a trade show is not necessarily measured only by the number of business cards collected or meetings held. For G.O.C FARM, Fine Food Australia 2026 brought new connections, direct product feedback and a clearer view of how buyers, distributors and food industry professionals approach products in the Australian market.
It also gave the team an opportunity to observe how other brands present their products, which formats are attracting attention and how retail, foodservice and hospitality are evolving. These observations can continue to inform product development, packaging and the way G.O.C FARM approaches new markets.
Fine Food Australia 2026 may be over, but many of the conversations that started at Stand C45 are continuing. For G.O.C FARM, that is perhaps one of the most valuable things to bring home from four days in Melbourne.
